Regardless of how fleeting these few days will be, I can only be glad that I have this at the very least to put some distance between myself and the worries I associate with this land. And it could be that I've outstayed my dependency on a mother-figure but packing today without you to tell me which strap the sleeping bag should fit into really hit a nerve.
