Open House today really got me thinking. What can I say, coagulated, school-spirit-inspired body paint really inspires thought. Thinking about what being 17 means - does the typical American highschool lifestyle mean anything to us. It means something to me, that's for sure. Not by choice, but by circumstance; growing up watching westernised brashly-portrayed highschool students that leaves an impression on you whether or not you choose to be affected by it.
Does it mean anything to be popular? What does it mean to be a nobody are you ever really a nobody? So what if you've got brown hair and coloured lenses. Just because you wear converse, just because you've got a ridiculously small bag that'll probably get all your notes crumpled. Typical popular girl. Pathetic.
And yet, still popular.
Important? (yes) NO.
Maybe. The only reason why I would bother to ask so many questions is that it somehow does freaking mean something to me.
shit.
