Christmas day has come and it is leaving. Soon it will be another 365 days till the next Christmas and until then, I will be looking out into the sun wondering how fast the earth is moving whilst I am standing still. Thinking about how this massive earth is free falling through space on a one-way road trip, never blinking or looking back, retracing its steps or regretting the ones it has just taken. We will feel nothing, as man never has, because science will not permit it. But we will wait, as man always has, for time to pass and for the sun to come back around again. And we will continue wishing for a better Christmas next year and the next.
