Driving through Tuscany
In a minute of a day, there are so many things that could right, and a million things that could go wrong. And within that minute of occurrences and happenstances is a milieu of difficult decisions, and problematic, tough choices. And a step, a motion, a kick and a bop could mean so much more than you intend for it to, and then, in the end, so much less than you had hoped for. The hardest part is dealing with the aftermath, the hardest part is making that leap. The hardest part is making a commitment and promising yourself that you're going to stick with it, despite yourself, despite the expectations placed on you and despite everything else that would threaten to challenge your wits and fight against your heart.
The hardest part is deciding if I'm going to pick up that glove, and kick on those boots when in the end, it could mean absolutely nothing at all. And in the greater scheme of things, the hardest part is deciding whether or not you're going to let it matter to you.
The hardest part is now, and it is everyday.
