to the die-hard Gossip Girl, hopeless-romantic fans out there:
you might remember this line from GG Season 1.

I love taking the train at night, when the train is empty and all you hear is the sound of metal on metal. no poker faces to avoid, no politeness to observe, just your distorted figure reflected off the windows of the carriage. ah the sweet, sweet smell of happy isolation.
