Leaks

Everyone shouts in my house. Like they're deaf. Like they're children. Like they're afraid we won't believe them. If you can't convince them with reason, try volume.

Stupid.

Adults acting like kids. Adults telling us not to act like kids, fornicating in their own sweet, sick abyss of hypocrisy. No room to study, no place to think. Loud noises transcend thin walls, wafer thin, almost edible.

Daddy comes to give me kiss on the cheek, says he's sorry for being too loud. It's really okay when I think about it. After all, loud noises helped keep me awake, helped fight fatigue for a little while. I think I forgive them.

For now.
